  A journalist with Muslim TV (MTA International) Taalay Ahmed has died following a robbery attack on a vehicle he was travelling on earlier this week on the Tamale-Buipe road. Tribute has been pouring in from different parts of the world following news of his demise. A report from the Northern Regional command of the police said the Taalay Ahmed and another victim, Omaru Abdul Hakim, aboard a Toyota Hiace with registration number GT 7405- 16 being driven by Rahman Baa, were attacked between Mpaha Junction and Sarikyekura on the Buipe-Tamale Highway on Monday, August 23, 2021, around 6:50pm. The median of three economists’ estimates in a Bloomberg survey was 33.2%. Unemployment according to the expanded definition, which includes people who were available for work but not looking for a job, rose to 44.4% from 43.2% in the first quarter.   Politicians in Ghana have submitted a draft bill which would make it a crime to be gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary or an ally, punishable by up to five years in prison, in what could become one of the most draconian pieces of anti-LGBT+ legislation anywhere in the world.   The Ghana Police Service have arrested a popular footballer and sports commentator in the Sunyani Municipality called Richard Gyamfi 28, Popularly known as "Fire Man" for alleged murder. A Search in his room by the police saw three severed Human Heads packed in his fridge. Confirming the news to Sunyani based Sky FM, the father of one of the the deceased victims, Mr Thomas Agyei explained that the footballer Reportedly lured his son, 13 years old Louis Agyemang Junior from a football park at Sunyani Abesim into his room and killed him.
